![]() Note that some faders (see page attenuverters) are adapted to the sysex script. (these change automatically by selecting "default first CC" and restarting the disting EX) These are the parameters that must be present on your EX disting:įrom parameter 7 to 64, the CCs range from CC#7 to CC#64 In SD Multi the "Env Time" parameter has been replaced by an ADSR envelope + delay / echo effect + 'Output Spread' parameter Īdded "Trigger no retrigger" to the Quad Envelope algorithm and 'LFO shape' to the Granulator algorithm) (more options for the "Input mode" parameter, added "As Played" arpeggiator mode and option for the paraphonic gate output So improved the search for samples and folders in SD6 Trigger.Ĥ.Everything has been updated to the new firmware 1.12 So I expanded the pages of the SD Multisample, SD 6 Triggers, Poly Wavetable, Poly Exciter and Quad Envelope algorithms.ģ. Created a sysex script, so now you can also edit parameters from number 64 onwards.Ģ. TouchOSC can be used on touch-screen mobile devices as well as desktop operating systems using traditional input methods. With some careful MIDI track routing in Live, I can confirm that these permutations do work.ĭistingEX_Editor_1.12_MK1.zip (541.85 KiB) Downloaded 45 timesġ. Update 3: Coincident with the last update, Os put me on the right track on a related TouchOSC challenge in this thread. Seems kinda obvious now, but I figured I'd post that info here in case someone else is scratching their heads over it. To get the same to work on the iPad (via TouchOSC Bridge), I needed two MIDI tracks in Live:ġ- MIDI From TouchOSC Bridge // MIDI To Disting EXĢ- MIDI From Disting EX // MIDI To TouchOSC Bridge Update 2: I realized that I had only confirmed real-time status updates working in TouchOSC on my MacBook - which worked because it's essentially directly connected to the Disting EX (via a MOTU MIDI hub). But the Disting EX option "Send CCs" has to be enabled first - it's disabled by default (see the end of the "MIDI Mappings" section of the Disting EX manual). ![]() Update 1: Ah! Better still, TouchOSC actually does reflect real-time parameter changes. I expect Mozaic, on the other hand, will remain easier and quicker for most users to work in to knock off a simple task. In order to see the current state of Disting EX's parameters using os's Preset Editor requires pressing a Refresh button in order to obtain a SysEx dump from the Disting EX.ĭoes TouchOSC support a similar mechanism? Could that be added to the template? The Lua scripting language and UI facilities in TouchOSC are much more suited to building big projects than Mozaic and its limited language and UI. I'm still getting to know TouchOSC, but so far I've been able to make things work from my iPad and my MacBook - which is really cool!
